Here's a link to the webboard that discusses it and whether or not I do actually win it as have had nothing from anyone to say you'll be sending it. Is the moylesbay.com just a gag feature or are you actually planning to clear out this tat? If I'd won that lightening reaction thing, it'd be counting the days till I got it and electricuted all my friends. Sounds like you got it bad today!

Well apart from Chris saying it on air! Yes, you have won it. I will be phoning everyone towards the end of the week to get addresses!

Yay!!!!

Cheers Aled - can't think why you'd be replying at this time of night - surely it's a party every night in radio land, hob-nobbing with the stars and passing on hilarious monologues of when you met 'so and so', and, 'did you see xxxx last night - weren't they amazing/rude/sexy!

anyway, been a pleasure and I hope that Chris brings out his own pan pipe album. You should call it something like - "Moyles in the mountains" - Chris' Christmas Collaboration will inspire and delight the young and the old with his 'hilarious' and yet poignant pieces based on those classics that you'll have heard during his 5 years on the afternoon show for Radio 1. Be stunned as his own unique 'talents' are captured for the first time on a commercial CD allowing you to relive some of the most intraspective views on his life as the true DJ supreme of Radio 1. Moments like this may make you wonder why looking back is so bad, but reassure you that looking forward is truly the only way to go.

Erm, can you tell I'm a music therapist and like try to analyse everything... And no, before any 'funny' people ask - I do not work with traumatised tambourines or broken drums.

As sad as it is, I was reading the previous "Ask Aled" and you put this over a year ago....

My next step is to produce, before then hopefully take on more roles as a 'souped up' BA which is what I am on Moyles with the Fame academy stuff. And then move backto TV (hopefully).

Chris is the one that I've always wanted to work for. Id really like it if we (the team) could move to Breakfast - but if Chris can't do that I want to stay where I am.

How strange..... You were looking forward, not back even then

Hey everyone.

We've now had a good response to our request for people to work with us on Moyles' BBC mini site.

Scott, however is Hell-bent on you speaking to him through the link that he's got set up. So, if you've PMd me could you again just go through the link to say you have an interest in helping.

There'll be no official commitment so don't worry about signing your life over to us time wise. It's just when we get a pool of people that will help we can start looking at how much and what exactly we can do.

Plus, who knows, depending on where they are around the country maybe even getting them involved in the show!

Here's the link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chrismoyles ... back.shtml

Thanks all

You still havn't answered my question about what you'd want us to do. I don't mind helping you, but with what? I don't really see that there's many things any of us could help you with.

I HAVE understood it. it's just if 1 person was to offer their services, the stuff they could help with will be radically different to that that 25 people could help with. We need to know the level of interest as that will determine what we could realistically do.

What's the point battling through the many level of management to get stuff agreed which we wouldn't end up doing anyway because 3 people have offered their services? So obviously step 1 is to see how much interest their is out there so we can form some ideas.

I simply don't know.

If I was to list things here you will hold me to it and within 2 months if these things didn't happen.

ok, fine here goes (bear in mind 1] 95% of these ideas will get lost in BBC politics and 2] if they don't happen you're not allowed to bully me saying I *pomised* anything because right now it's Scott and me who's trying to involve you and neither of us are BBC managers!):

* Our own *more factual* review of the show without the personal content but based on facts rather than opinon (shared over a large number of people)

* people to report on behind the scenes stuff if the Brekkie Show comes from your area

* Weather reports from your house

* Trial games / help write new ones for online

* Help compile webcam galleries

* Help transcribe interviews

* Help create multi media web pages of interviews of Chris's guests with pics, audio and transcribed interviews

* Tedious link logging (like was started on here)

* Set up listener webcams from your house for online/onair

etc etc etc

*** I don't if any of these are possible ***
*** I don't know if any of these are allowed ***
*** I haven't had a single meeting with anyone in the BBC so none of these are official BBC ideas ***
*** These are just ideas I've come up with as I type this e-mail ***
*** Get it? Got it? Good. ****

Ok, cheers Aled. I understood that you're not sure if these things will happen, I just wanted some examples of the sorts of things involved. Sorry if I put you on the spot!

That's alright - sorry if I come across snappy. Under a lot of pressure at the moment and EVERYTHING seems to have a hurdle in front of it (havign one of those weeks) - and this just seemed to be the same thing!

List sound alright though? (I know I've asked this before) but any other suggestions? Think blue-sky stuff. There's no reason why as (soon-to-be) the biggest Radio show we can't do some experimental new stuff!

Sorry to disappoint but it's a working title. There'll be an old track feature in the new show I'm sure, but no definite plans yet on how it'll be. It might be as Tedious or maybe one of the other ideas.

Is there a chance that Big Blubber may return? What about more of Aleds Ballads? I'd love to hear your heavenly voice again, lol. How about a feature similar to "I look like Wayne Sleep...Get Me Out of Here", that was classic. How about little features with Chris and Dave doing impressions, since they are so good a them (well, Chris anyway) Can't think of anymore right now but I'll get back to you.

I presume the whole "big ones" thing is being dropped then?

(Unless Chris's man breasts count..)

That was abysmal, but his Westwood, Dreem Teem, Foxy, John Peel, Mark & Lard, Colin Murray, Jo Whiley, Zane Lowe, Steve Lamaq impressions are spot on. Perhaps a parody of their radio shows?

I'm guessing thats more of a Sara Cox feature then a breakfast show feature, much like the Tedious Link is to Moyles. She'll need to keep her big ones in all honesty anyway.
