Phew, something of a busy weekend.
Yup, the performance was prerecorded a) because the team needed to vet the track a couple of days before we went down there and b) logisitically its much easier for the station to do it that way. There were no monitors onstage and not having a live mic its one less thing to go wrong. It was actually harder for Graeme to mime than to do what he normally does i.e. just rap and improvise which he does heavily
whenever we do a Moped PA.
The punters seemed to enjoy it, Norman took it in the spirit it was intended and once I connect the MiniDV camera to the laptop I'll get some snaps and some footage. Also got a little something for the scrapbook.
Quite a surreal weekend, we were chatting to everyone from Basement Jaxx to Tony Byrne.
