Being a bit serious for a minute, what do you think constitutes cheating on someone, a kiss, or more?

What would you do if you cheated on someone, would you tell them?

Why when everything is always going right does something have to go horribly wrong!?

sorry but i hate these type of questions. i always think, if you liked someone enough you wouldnt cheat on them, its simple as that.

its out of order and to be fair you should finish with the other person. maybe not tell them why though if you still wanna stay mates

I know, I always thought that as well, if you wanna be with someone, you wanna be with someone, if you wanna be with other people, then don't be with someone in the first place.

& if you are a tiny bit untrustworthy, alcohol magnifies it about 800%.

To cheat on someone it would have to be a very serious kiss, I think.

I would have to tell, because I have a very transparant conscience and always feel guilty. I'd either apologise manically if the original person meant a lot, or just say it was time to move on. And yes alcohol generally changes a lot. I guess it depends on how forgiving a person is, and what the situation was like to begin with.

Does this mean you've been cheating on someone? Sorry, thats a bit too personal - never mind.

wish i could cheat on someone. hmm.

you dont have to kiss someone to cheat its a state of mind. im very naive about this kind of thing but i still like to believe love exists. i mean look at roy an hayley...

My mate discussed this with his ex before they broke up. He said if she ever did cheat on him he would probably forgive her as long as she told him of her own accord, knowing full well he would dump her but he would want to know. So she told him and he promptly finished it. They didn't sleep together, but they were 'naked in the same bed' together - and it was her ex.

I personally think it depends on a lot of things and all situations are different. I get involved far too quickly sometimes and so I would probably class a kiss as cheating, if tongues were used. Then again, it would depend, as has been previously mentioned, on the amount of alcohol intake. It will always affect situations, although I don't think it could ever be used as the one and only excuse.

I think the same as Bridgie that if you love someone enough to be with them then there should be no need to cheat. If I felt the need to cheat on my bloke then I would look at our relationship and try to see why I wanted to cheat on him.

Of course as Giggly said alcohol can make you do stuff that you woulsnt normally do but I would tell my partner what had happened and how much I regretted it before they found out through someone else.

I take it you would'nt tell them. I would tell them, its better them finding out from me than someone else, then maybe we might have a chance of getting back on track.

Yeah, sorry for any misunderstanding Giggly.

Actually, what I meant was that telling your partner you'd cheated on them would be stupid....

Magenta knows me well enough to know I wouldn't judge her anyway.

I think that was what he meant - you'd make him eat a meal cooked by you as punishment.

Right, just so we're clear:

I was implying telling someone you've cheated on them is stupid. I was reassuring Ickle I won't cheat on her, I was implying that her cooking would be a fitting punishment if I did cheat on her and she found out, and I think that's about it. I was probably going to imply that Topher's a big poof too but I can't remember... ;)
