i think if people wish to join the private area then they should write a post explaining why instead of just voting for name sake. there have been plenty of people that have applied that have not been successful.

Why would giving a reason change anything? What reasons are there to be in here, no one NEEDS to be allowed in really.

Even if reasons are given i doubt it will change anyones opinion on someone in one post so the results would be pretty much the same.
