But do you not find that desert spoons tend to have a higher level of professional integrity than tea spoons? I mean, tea spoons are all well and good, but ask them to assist in opening a dodgy cat food tin, and which spoon will come running? Teaspoons are best because they measure sugar an coffee so well.  I do have a problem with them things theu give you in cafes to stir tea i mean whats the point? just use a spoon dammit.
