im sorry but the strokes are very overated the album is okay but it is not anything special and yet in the polls at the end of the year it will beat mercury rev and muse.....i also think mercury revs album isnt as good as deserters songs..if you dont have that album BUY IT IT WILL MAKE YOU CRY WITH EMOTION

i saw muse at Glastonbury last year... its all a bit hazy but I think they were good. Couldn't get tickets for the tour cos they'd sold out.

The Spiritualized album is fantastic - one of the best albums of the year. Not sure about album of the year though. I was listening to it again today, and although I'm reluctant to call it album of the year - if I didn't have it on MP3 already, I would *buy* this album. And that is a very big compliment indeed.
