The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Let's look at the evidence - Moyles announcing several times that he's leaving the Saturday show very soon. Moyles asking Helen from Big Brother whether she wanted to present the Saturday show. Moyles saying "we'll give these dolls away on our last show... I shouldn't really mention that. Nevermind". Moyles has done quite a lot of TV & magazines over the past few months.
Now I find out about The Saturday Show, the BBCs replacement for Live & Kicking. It'll apparently be a Letterman style interview show with an older target audience than L&K. This launches in September, but they are launching a campaign now to find the house band which will be a (oh dear) manufactured rock band. "No dancing boy or girl bands please. Do you want to be the next Travis, Catatonia or Wheatus?". Jesus.
You have probably guessed by now that I'm hinting at Moyles presenting this show and I'm almost certain that he is. I mean, why would he give up a show and wages without something to replace it. This show starts in September - that gives him time to annouce it on the show, etc. Now it could be anybody presenting this new show, and these are only my ideas - but who else could the BBC employ to win the ratings war with Ant & Dec?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/entertainment/tv_and_radio/newsid_1463000/1463580.stm
the_dr
No No, it says:
The BBC is now launching a Popstars-style search for a young group to appear each week as the house band.
They are not going to get new people presenting every week... they would need one main presenter, Moyles! I would like to see Chris and Anna present together!
David

no no no! i wouldn't be able to watch it if they were presenting it together, i'd cringe every time they were stood within a metre of each other. ana boulter on her own would be a good presenter though, she is quitting cbbc and doing something for older people though...hmmmm...

Someone called Vicky Marsden is doing next weeks show - never heard of her before. Can't be all bad though as she loves Star Wars!
Simn

Vicky Marsden is the worst presenter *ever*
Once I heard her and she left a 4 second gap between a jingle and record 3 times in a row...
She makes Sarah HB look good!
David

star wars is crap. there must be a logical explanation about chris and dave not doing the show next saturday, maybe they're doing an interview about how much they want to stay on the saturday show, or they're going to alton towers or something and they want to get an early start.

why would they suddenly have a Saturday off if they have been on holiday for two weeks?
Maybe Vicky Marsden is planning to take over and they are trying her out?

lets hope he leaves the saturday show, shortly, if not to coincide with, the rest of the shows he does, before going into a career broadcasting for deaf people.
xx
