wondering how sad i am read this pitiful crap. before you get to the tv listings (to be announced film, great). they have a wee page about tv and theres a whats hot and whats not. oh a nd you can guess what comes next. made by the same ppl who make the sunday mirror hmmm.
WHATS HOT
SARA COX???????????????????(THAT ENUFF QUESTION MARKS)
after quite a shaky start, this radio 1 chick is going from strength to strength. her early moring show is now sparky, sunny and sparky. coxy's really got it going on, so turn on and tune in.
WHATS NOT
CHRIS MOYLES
an overweight, overrated, talentless bully whose sheer arrogance and hapless clumsy attempts at wit are painful and pitiful. boot him off the air and into outer space and it still wouldnt be far enough.
ahmmm i was gonna argue this but it would take about 1000 words. iys tv:uk, simply the best tv preview column in the world.
just a couple of points to start off
1 if its a tv preview, why the hell are they reviewing radio djs, shoddy journalism
2 chris moyles is overweight, who is doing the bullying now

i think it was chris moyles that started that thing where he would get everyone else who works for the show to join in. if you ask me i think sara cox is just like a female version of chris moyles exept she has taken all the comedy out of it and replaced it for a stuttering mess.

hey come on benjo, give chris evans (I know its hard) and Howard Stern some credit!! Moyles wasn't the total originator of the format

uglybob- theres little you can do to protest against these 'journlanists'. The crap Moyles gets he throws back at the 2x harder - or he just ignores it like a mature human being. I think everybody is entitled to their own opinions - whether I agree with them or not. There is clearly a lot of beurocracy at the Mirror Media group - as in every other media organ. Morris has had far far more criticism than Moyles in his time. Indeed, the Sunday Sport publish Morris' home number on the front page of their rag. Sound familiar? Moyles got off lightly by being called "arrogant and fat" - two statements both I and, I presume he, agrees with. Thats his selling point - a funny, opinionated, rude, arrogant, loud mouth. If Moyles started getting slated by a serious newspaper (although I'm not sure what he would be doing in one of them :)), then I would have something to complain about.
FatBoy - there has been a lot of talk of DJs 'copying' off other DJs. Moyles, Evans, Ian Collins and even Steve Wright have used the 'gang' thing. Howard Stern is the original 'shock jock'. Ian Collins uses the same sound effects as Moyles. Radio, and especially newspapers, are nothing without plaugurism. Whatever you think of Moyles and Evans - they are good, innovative broadcasters. Sara Cox, on the other hand, is a TV presenter and a bad one at that.
the_dr
