I'm with the_dr (nothing against you Clare!) - just that pop music is harder to produce to a certain extent (though the artists themselves don't produce it obviously - they just sing).  Though everyone has their own personal tastes! but atomic kittens first number 1 (whole again) came AFTER kerry left (kerry left just before it was released) they are definately doing better in the charts than they did when kerry was there because she couldn't sing, she couldn't dance and all she did was sit there and stare at things. eternal flame is supposed ot be number 1 tomorrow, they would have never got a number 1 with kerry still there.
