How about everyone here puts money together to get me some booze. The more I drink, the less there is for the kiddies, stopping the problem of underage drinking. You know it makes sense
 I've just discovered smilies!!

I have about 1/2 of Our Kid Eh (I will get the rest when Eddie uploads it). I have to admit that the Shirehorses stuff is much better than the stuff M&L churn out daily. M&L do have a skill for making up irreverant lyrics (i.e. Dairy Lee) and a fair few sex lyrics (Arseholes), but Moyles' skill is to listen to the original and take the **** of it - i.e. the lyrics and the way it is performed.
The only evidence I have heard of M&L doing this is The Indecipherable Boys, a very acurate impersination of the Beastie Boys. All the other songs, as far as I can see, are just the original tune with some funny lyrics. Nothing wrong with that - some of the Shirehorses tunes are hilarious, they are just different to the Moyles parodies.
As to why Moyles has never released an album, I think it's because he does parodies of songs of the present, instead of 6 months ago. M&L do indie 'classics', with a few exceptions, whereas Moyles does pop. In 3 years time, M&Ls will probabaly be funnier/more relevant than Moyles throwaway pop hits. But I'm sure that if Moyles did release an album, it would sell loads.
For now, download some mp3s from the Sound Vault and burn them onto a cd - make your own album :)
the_dr

Good stuff doc. To be honest, I'd have to go with Shirehorses, but I still think Moyles can churn them out. As with most of his stuff, it's to do with effort. Fair enough it comes easy to him, as it does Mark & Marc, but if he's got the talent he should use it.
Ballad of Franny Lee being a personal fave of Shirehorses I reckon

OK Jonny, sorry matey. Tis a good name really. Kinda sounds like a blues singer or sommet. Are you a blues singer or sommet? Maybe you could do blues parodies
