does anyone think that robin banks (ex of virgin radio and atlantic 252) would be a good addition to radio 1?, possibly instead of dave 'roll another fat one' pearce. he was brilliant when he did beat 106 in scotland, almost doubling the listeners in a year.

Banks is now doing the drivetime show on Kiss100 in London and from what I have heard people say he is supposed to be excellent. Apparently Kiss now broadcast on the net so I'll have to try to listen to him sometime.<P>Actually I remember a while back reading a rumour somewhere before he joined Kiss (think it was the MediaUk forums) that he had been seen leaving the Radio 1 building.............<br>He's young, fairly good looking (for a dj at least) and has done TV work for the BBC- all of which seem to be requirements for DJ's at Radio 1 these days, so he could well join the station sometime in the future.<P>Hope so- at the moment the only people on R1 worth listening to are Moyles and M & L.

I sometimes listen to Robin Banks on Kiss 100. He's quite good. His producer Millie sounds quite a cool chick too.
