Tonight is the Staff photo so all the team were sprucing themselves up and trying to look as best as they could. Dave being the exception as he always looks scruffy no matter what he wears. Will was so lazy that he asked Aled in the studio to iron his shirt. Chris asked what with, a pair of cds. Will was wearing the exact same clothes as he wore in last years photo. They used make up freebies to make them look better. Chris said that Aled looked pale and unwell after he applied the stuff.
It seemed that the material had ran out so they opened the phone lines to people who had problems they needed sorted out. The expert team... well competent... well Will and Dave answered with their expertise, or high lack of it. The callers were an uninteresting bunch.
Fergie is 23 this Friday so he is going back home to celebrate for his show on his Friday night show in Armagh. The team felt jealous because they never get to go anywhere on their birthday as part of the show. Chris suggested they go to Hong Kong to celebrate Daves birthday next April and go to Woking for Wills.
A familiar part of the show now is Daves Telly Tips which should take all of 1 minute to do. Daves Top 5 was read out with the old chart rundown music from the 70's when Fluff Freeman did Pick Of The Pops. Dale Winton does it now on Radio 2 on Saturday afternoons. Daves picks were fairly male dominated with a documentary on Ford cars, 2 football matches, Bargain Hunt and an Arnold Schwarzeneggar film, Raw Deal. Aled poured scorn on the picks and said that none related to him. Chris decided to do Aleds tips and ended up with Corrie, Graham Norton and Sex and The City. Chris noticed that they asked Darius to switch on Leeds Xmas Tree Lights and was a bit peeved that he wasnt asked, bearing in mind that he grew up there.
Chris mum called him and asked him to buy her Oasis Greatest Hits after she saw an advert for it on the TV. She had mistook the advert because it said the All the great singles from Heathen Chemistry. His mum then told him to buy her the back catalogue then (not asking much is she?). Chris decided to buy her it skipping a couple of the dodgy ones like Be Here Now and Standing on the Shoulder of Giants. I am in the minority of people who likes Be Here Now.

Daves Tedious Link
U2 The Fly - The Fly was a film that starred Jeff Goldblum - Jeff Goldblum also starred in Jurassic Park - Another film which had a dinosaur was The Flintstones - The Flintstones neighbours were Barney and Betty Rubble - Rubble rhymes with Trouble as in Double Trouble and the Rebel MC - They had a 1990 track called Street Tuff - In the world of cooked meats, tough is the opposite of lean - The Lean Mean Grilling Machine was invented by George Foreman - He used to be a boxer - When Dave was a kid, boxer was also the make of a bike which you started on before going up to a striker and ultimately a grifter - The Grifters was a 1990 film starring John Cusack and Angelica Huston - Houston is a major city in the state of Texas - Texas is the Lonestar State - The Three Wise Men had to follow a star in the story of the nativity - The nativity plays always feature The First Noel and the first Noel in the Gallagher family was their middle son Noel Gallagher - Which links us to Oasis and D'You Know What I Mean
