A lacklustre show today. Chris really wanted to stay off the booze for the weekend but feels he might break it because tonight he is in the pub watching the Chelsea match and then tomorrow midday for the Newcastle match. He also intended to watch the Sopranos on DVD. Chris watched Peter Kay and plugged his website in an attempt to nab free tickets for his tour. Chris said he was doing nothing on Sunday so has been forced to go to the seaside by his new lady friend Sophie. Lizzie was brought to Sir Andrew of Parfittshires office today where he commended her on her awful singing the other day.
Shaun Ryder is 40 today. It is also geeky lambchop Titters birthday. Dave called todays quiz Chicken Drumsticks, as you maybe aware the start of the quiz starts with a chicken noise and ends with noises of a drumstick. An email came back from Peter Kays office and the fella said that he had no access to the radio and that there were a lot of people on the website and wanted to know why. Dave emailed him back saying we plugged your site, dont be so f###ing miserable. Dave later sent an apologetic email.
Chicken Drumsticks
Line 1 - McCoy at the Reading Festival
Line 2 - Sara wearing Pyjamas suffering the loss of her bunny (Dave Two words, Posh Nuts)
McCoy won 5-4 (Sara was asked What is the name of the dance festival in Liverpool this weekend to which she replied Oh that one in Leeds)
Chris went through the bands he doesnt know of that are playing at the Reading Festival, he includes Rival Schools in this, who I thought he would know as they are great. Mystic Horse returned after 5 to predict Premiership results.
Dave Do you think that Everton will win at Sunderland tomorrow? YES
Lizzie Will Liverpool beat Sothampton? NO
Dave Do you think that Wayne Rooney will score? YES
Chris Will Leeds United get 3 points tomorrow? YES
Chris Will Man Utd come with 3 points tonight at Stamford Bridge? NO
We will see whether Mystic Horse is correct on Monday. Ash will be in the Live Lounge on Wednesday CONFIRMED. Lizzie sang again and chose Wannabe by The Spice Girls. Still better than listening to The Streets. Freebies at 5ive was played again today. Chris let Georgina and Mickey at Newsbeat a choice of one item each. Mickey was given Clearasil. Chris got Muller Yoghurt Pie, some wine, Archers alcohol, Action Men, Juice, A big hamper full of stuff and soap. Chris got an idea from a listener. The listener was stuck in traffic and got annoyed with people driving their cars in the busline so he thinks that the people should write down the registration numbers and name and shame them on the radio. Due to legalities it would not be possible to do the feature.
