For those of you who missed the show this morning, today marks ten years at Radio 1 for Comedy Dave.

The shows' Director Of Comedy originally joined the station on December 5th 1996 as a 'technical operative'.



He has worked with Chris Moyles for nearly a decade - so to celebrate Dave's anniversary, here's ten of his best moments, as found in our Sound Vault.

10. Dave pilots his new gameshow idea on the show, called 'Reverse-A-Word'.

9. Rapping as Choc-Ice, Dave stars in popular beat combo GhettoLife.

8. Dave does his Tedious Link whilst still drunk from the night before.

7. Dave is the subject of a late 90's Touch & Go parody.

6. Will and Chris recount Dave's legendary exploits with the ladiees.

5. Dave introduces his infamous alter ego, King Of Tickets.

4. A caller to Car-eoke knows Dave... rather well.

3. A major flaw in Dave's Tedious Link as er, Don McLean isn't dead.

2. Chris goes to the toilet, leaving Dave to introduce the news - with disasterous consequences.

1. Dave sings a legendary song about cheese, from the Saturday Show in 2001.

Its times like these I wish I'd been in on the Moyles thing right from the beginning, I did leave a note on his blog today though:

Wow theres not many things you do for ten years, I think ten years ago I was probably renewing my passport or something, which is interesting because I was thinking, your passport will have seen some action in the past ten years wont it!
