Scott is such a chav and completely ruins the "DJ" title. He's awful and not even funny. He can't even do an intro without overlapping it and hitting the lyrics. I can't wait for Chris to get back!

Chris being away means we can listen to Greg James more though, and so far he has impressed me from what I've heard.

I've actually liked it this week. I thought is's been quite good. Okay it's not Chris and the team but then no-one else is really. In the traditional sense of being a radio DJ, Scott Mills is brilliant. What Chris does is radically different from how anyone has ever previously done the breakfast show which is part of his main appeal. No-one could emulate that and I wouldn't want them to try.

Not true Andy. Chris Evans did it, not as well admittedly but he did have a similar show to Chris.

I'm not so sure - his radio 2 show is very good. He's another one of those people who lots of people seem to intensely dislike but I don't see why.

OK, he is better on R2, but then, he will have matured now, and learned for the past, I guess. When he was at R1, he thought he was bigger than the station, only to come down to Earth with a resounding bump.

Chris Evans was different. He always says that radio is his first and only real love, but I really think his style is best suited to television. Don't Forget Your Toothbrush and TFI were both must-see shows for me.

You're right, I couldn't. But that's because I'm not a Radio 1 DJ; nor do I have years experience in being a DJ - where as Scott does!
Personally, he'd be better off working for local radio or Virgin.
