Me and some friends were discussing this the other day and I think Man U will do it. They've been given a massive kick up the arse this season and already have one class signing under their belt. 2nd and 3rd place will be closely fought between Arsenal and Chelsea, whose incredible run of luck will run out. Liverpool will be fourth and Spurs will be a lot higher.

I'd like to say Middlesbrough, but I'm a realist! I think Chelsea will win it again. I don't see Man U doing any better next year. The buy out will effect their form I think. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Ferguson resigns next year.

Liverpool's downward spiral could very well continue. If so Middlesbrough have a shot at hitting 4th I think.

I think Chelsea or Arsenal again, as long as it's not United because it's a nightmare having to watch them gloat when they win it and I've really enjoyed the break from that these last few years.

And I'm backing Manchester City for a European Place, preferably instead of Middlesborough.

is sylvain distin really that good that everyone wants him? i always saw him as an average centre back. dont want to lose marcus bent either.

He was pretty average to begin with, but he really shone last season alongside Richard Dunne, so for the first time in years, we have a decent defence and we don't wanna lose that! He's our captain as well so I can't see us giving him up easily.

So I wouldn't worry too much about Marcus Bent! I'd be surprised if we got anyone before the start of the season!
