Which album is everyone looking forward to buying? or geting for christmas?

I'm looking forward to Lily Allen's new album, when it's finally released, and I would like the Kaisers album for Christmas.

Dunno, but I'm getting a little fed up at this latest method the record labels have of sucking money out of us consumers.

Artist releases album. Something the fans have been looking forward to, so they snap it up quick. They buy it on CD because they don't want to screw the artists by downloading it for free, but don't want the hassle of DRM you get from the likes of iTunes.

Then, a little while later, a special edition of the album comes out. It's the same album, but with a few extra tracks. At least one of which is released as a single and played on the radio.

At least Coldplay released an EP with the extra stuff as well as a special edition of Viva la Vida. But just in the last couple of months I've found myself with "lesser" versions of Rihanna, Glasvegas and Leona Lewis. Admittedly, the last one is my girlfriend's. I'm also led to believe there's a special edition of the latest Girls Aloud album coming out too.

Don't get me wrong, being screwed by Rihanna, Leona Lewis and Girls Aloud sounds like a lot of fun, but not like this.

I saw Britney on a French show called Star Academy last week (like their X-Factor but way better) and she was so * shambolic I felt sorry for her. She didn't even know it was a singing contest! Tit. I can't stand her.
