Are you stating that you talk out of your arse or that your breath stinks?

I do a lot of things which are natural and healthy - the revolting part would be talking about them on here. Not talking about them per se, just talking about them on here.

I always liked James.

Gordon was a bit stuck up for my liking!

Annie and Clarabel. Donald and Douglas were the Scottish Twins. Their dialogue is written in the original books in the absolute worst Middle-Class Englishman version of Scottish dialect imaginable. Even I wince at it.

Having just done a Wikipedia search i found:

"They maun hae slyly slippit aff, sir!" Which was apparently an excuse for them not wearing numbers.

I think it translates as "They must have slyly slipped off, sir"

I dont know what "maun" means tho. If it does mean "must", then I doubt its been used since Rabbie Burns was putting pen to paper!

I'm not sure - but whenever I read the dialogue (written by an old, posh, English clergyman) which is attributed to these two Scottish characters, I kind of understand why the Scots hate us so much.
