Absolutely right Mr Balls. People complain about the numbers of foreign people here but it's a fallacy that there are so many of them; I think the actual figure overall (including ALL other countries, Irish, etc.) is about 7%, it's just that they tend to congregate in certain areas.

Im surrounded by Eastern European people where I live. Half of them dont do ought productive and yet seem to think they can have anything they want, so my perspective maybe somewhat slanted due to that, but our opinions are shaped by our experiences and environment.

I understand your point pointy. But in my sexperience (that was a typo, but I thought I'd leave it in because it's funny). In my experience the "foreign" workers I've come across are nothing but hard working individuals who have escaped whatever situation they were in before for a better life here in old Blighty.

Granted you may have found some layabouts, but I'd wager that there are worse Brit layabouts around, who are much more spongy towards the system. I guess in summary, there is no summary.

The world is like a great big onion.......... spherical, smelly and it sometimes makes you cry.
