I must be getting old, Its Friday and the one thing about the weekend I'm looking forward to the most is sitting down tonight with a chinese, something I haven't done for 2 months.
No going clubbing, or getting rat-arsed and getting back at 4 in the morning smothered in Kebab.
I may have a few Beers tonight but thats all.

Yeah but with Nottingham it's the ONLY redeeming feature - except maybe Robin Hood's tree but there are now so many of those around the country now that even that's lost its appeal especially as it costs a small fortune to get in to se it.

I have no idea honey, the oldest oak tree in the UK (allegedly) is in a field not far from me and the people who own the field - and consequently the tree - charge people to see it - never seen a queue there.

Interesting. Let me know where that is, and I'll let you know if they have any legal right to do that - just because they own the field doesn't necessarily mean they can charge people to go into it.

It's called Bowthorpe Oak in Manthorpe. If you google it it comes up, I'd love to put up a sign at the end of the road saying they "can't charge you, just come on in"

Nottingham is actually known for it, having the most pubs within the centre square kilometre. and it's rumoured women-men ratio of 4-1.
