Cornwall is nice as well you know. Jurasic Coast is lovely, North Devon little villages lovely.

As for N v S.

Cornish people are really weird, they are insular, poor communicators, can't be trusted, tights as assholes, everything happens "dreckly"..... Oh, of cource they are Celts.

People who live in old mining areas are nicer than everywhere else though I find based on my experience of North Somerset, and South East Cornwall, never trust anyone who has a yaught or has a friend with one.

I still haven't been to Scotland, which I have a sneaking suspicion probably does qualify as having the most beautiful parts of the UK in it. I still want to go.

Much as I hate to say it Yuds, once you get up past Edinboroughshire and Glas-vegas (although I recommend a visit to Bathgate, en-route), Jockville is a beautiful place......
