Are there any reports of places without snow coverage?

EDIT: Just realised how odd that sounds.

I don't know - but the thing that made me suspicious is the little corner of the Republic of Ireland - which I though had been snowed on just as much as us - which looks green. I could easily be wrong about the Irish weather though.

It doesn't show all my OCD neighbours who have immaculately cleared their driveways and pavements. Fake.

To be fair I feel sorry for you Jocks, wasn't it -20 in the Northern part at one point 8O

It got to -21 in Braemar last night apparently. It holds the record low in the UK of -27. They were talking about how that made it as cold as the South Pole on the news last night. Which sounds impressive, until you consider that it's summer in the Southern Hemisphere. That's WARM for the South Pole.

8O Bloody hell, the way it's going that record could be broken up there.

Apparently it's going to snow "heavily" this Sunday in London & The South East, that's a weekend of staying in then :(

It's funny, I remember when I was at school I would stay up late with my face pressed up to the window watching for any signs of it snowing any more with tyhe hope of not going to school the next day. Now I glance outside with my fingers crossed that it DOESN"T get any worse, so I don't have to miss work.

Growing up sucks

Well, I was lucky last night. I was going to leave early to catch an early bus home, but decided the weather didnt look that bad. Went to catch the next bus and it had been cancelled, so caught the train and got home an hour later than normal.

I then found out the early bus that I hadnt caught was stuck with the other thousand motorists on telegraph/holden hill in Exeter until 11 o'clock last night!

Bloody hell, it's bad down near South London then is it? Here in East London it's constantly snowing & setting but that tiny little snow rather than the big * flakes, although Dominic this morning said it would be a mixture of them, got that partially wrong here at least

Last week, I had to get in the drivers door, and slide across into the front passengers seat, plus it took some strength to open the hatch. We had loads of snow on the 6th, and we got Wed+thurs off :D :D :D :D

I aint read this topic in great detail, but the skimming of it leads me to conclude that everyone was moaning about the snow.

Snow > Rain. I want it back.

I'll be honest I kind of agree, rain * me off, especially the tiny rain that makes you instantly wet & damp (expects the double entendre's to appear after this post) ;)
