Thank goodness for that, I thought it couldn't be time for Thanksgiving quite yet. Veterans day - I get it, same as our Remembrance Day, only we don't get a public holiday for it here. Obviously going soft on the populus over in the Colonies these days......!

we don't get quite as many bank holidays, so i get what i can. thanksgiving is going to suck this year. maybe i'll post a thread whinging about that.

Its a time to ruin a turkey and argue with the family I think. A bit like Christmas, only in America, they do it twice. Always have to go one better, damn Yanks..........

haha! my family did turkey for thanksgiving, ham for christmas eve, prime rib for christmas, and lamb new year's day. one year we tried a turducken on christmas, but never again.

She's known for ages, but I sorta screwed it all up by being too obcessive. I probably don't stand a chance now. At least I'll know not to make the same mistake again.
