Now, I'm aware this might only appeal to people of a geeky disposition, but I stumbled across WolframAlpha after reading an article in todays paper. It's not a search engine (it doesn't give you pages of possible answers from a single input), it deals only in facts, not opinion. It was designed by a British physicist and mathematician Stephen Wolfram.
