I kinda know what Viv means - my store number is 220 and that number haunts me! When I moved house the number was even on the water butt outside.

Yep, I believe you slut 4 - certain numbers seem to follow you around, often at beginnings and endings of things: 311 or 113 is another couple of examples for me.

Mmm, on second read of what I wrote, I might have sounded a tad harsh there - not intended, sorry.

My parents always play the lottery - they put credit on their account via the website and then enter online. I've never played it at all - I don't really agree with how they spend the money, and I can't really be bothered. When I stayed at my parents' for a bit last year, my mum would often start harassing me for numbers to put on, and, knowing they don't watch Lost, I would give her Hurley's numbers. After a while I thought I'd better explain the origin of them to her - she wasn't impressed.

I actually made a very determined promise to myself never to go back to that website, the online scratchcards were abysmal, you could win £4 if you were lucky, hell it told me some poor muppet won £10 on a scrolling banner at the top, the lucky err thing. I've always thought that to be a true winner with that game you have to be 100% committed to it, in other words you have to be Jono, with £ signs in his beady eyes watching Mills do the Wednesday draw and begging him to fix it for him so he can expand his forum enterprise.

I don't do the lottery either.

ME either, used the same numbers for 5 years just 1 line - won 1 £10 would've been better saving my pennies.

Don't u find it weird when people say "I've got to do the lottery this week it's a triple rollover" cos you know a couple of million isn't worth the effort! :?

Well, WINNING a couple of million would be worth the effort. Its not winning it that isn't.

It's the people that only do it if it's a rollover tho! That annoys me

Why would that annoy you? Let them waste their money.
