Oh my parents live quite close to where the M65 extension was built. The bus station is the most depressing, soulless place on God's earth. It is also somehow colder in there than it is outside.

Its because it is haunted by the broken spirits of hundreds of beaten and battered Eco-Warriors. I saw Swampy a few weeks back. He no longer smells, and was wearing clean clothes and lace up shoes. How the mighty are fallen.

Ah Swampy came in after the M65 extension protests. Never trust these fly by nights. He was more of a tunnel man than a tree man i think.

I don't know the ins and outs of his protest-orientation, all I know is he stank. Really really really stank. He always seemed a nice enough chap though, it was nice to see him again.

There was a bloke who i was obliged to share a treehouse with at one point who had trenchfoot. Now that is serious stinking. Maybe Swampy when you met him had trenchfoot?
