I saw that - its a load of absolute nonsense. The sign language Mr Tumble uses is not sign language for deaf people specifically, it is a language called Makaton which has been developed for people with learning and communication difficulties. It is not and never has been designed as an alternative to BSL, the sign language for the deaf. The sign in Makaton which is causing the problem means "hello" - only a similar sign (not the same actually, but if you don't speak either of the languages you might confuse it) means "f***ed" or "f***ing" in BSL. But its not the same language, Mr Tumble is perfectly all right and Something Special, which is his show for 2-6 year olds with learning difficulties (and is brilliant I might add) will continue.
