ive a new phone but i want to use my old sim in it, can it be done. my old phone was a nokia 3410 and this new one is 6610i

it depends on the network not the type of phone surley. if it is the same network then you probably can ive done it a few times.

yeah im with o2 and the phones from o2 website. stuck the sim in and it seems to work

you wont be able to use the picture messaging facility unless your old sim card is multimedia compatable, that's all. I had that problem. Sim worked fine for everything else though.

but if needs be you can get the number, phonebook memory etc transferred onto a new simcard, if you're really bothered about that feature.

I just used the new sim card and did just as you said above. I just tried the old one to see what would, and what wouldn't work

I just got a new phone from O2, Sony Ericsson K750i. Such an amazing phone. The camera is top notch also.

Kept my old o2 number, only took 2days to get it changed too!
