Led Zepplin - Whole Lotta Love

Does Chris use this tune as a bed for anything? If so, what for? Because I was round my mates house right, he put this tune on and it sounded so familiar - it could be that the beginning sounds kind of similar to the Half-Time tune (the Kill Bill one) but I'm so sure Chris uses it for something else.. Maybe just a general bed or something, I dunno.. Can anyone enlighten me?

It used to be the top of the pops theme, I don't think Chris uses it though.

ahhh *ding* possibly where I knew it from then... the beginning is very similar to the half-time song as well though, lol nevermind then *feels stupid*

The guitar riff at the beginning of it was adopted as the theme for Top of the Pops in the 70s, performed by 'CCS' It replaced the original TOTP theme and preceeded "Yellow Pearl" by Phil Lynott in 1981.

It was brought back into use in 1998 in the beginning it has now.
