I've managed to do a edit of it, as Chris talks over the start of it I've had to, more or less, start from the opening lyrics, the end fades out slightly short of the normal song as the "Cheggers Pop Quiz" jingle crashes in.

Hope this is an ok edit for you all, originally clipped from Richard Tomlinson's Denise Van Outen interview:

Hope that was ok to do that Richard :)

Hope that satisfies people's hunger for now, but i'll clip a fuller one when I get a chance for the Sound Vault.

Good stuff, I did try & edit in the start & end properlly but couldn't get rid of the slight jumps.

I also didn't know the official name of it because as far as I know they never gave it a name so called it "Kilimanjaro" rather than "The Kilimanjaro" (as in "The Fear") or "Climbing Kilimanjaro".

Isn't Moyles currently talking about a parody album?

Yes, it was mentioned on the show over the last couple of days, and also on yesterday's blog. Don't know if it's officially happening yet, but it sounds like it's getting close.

Would be a good idea, they could sell it on a limited release with money going to charity.

If that does happen I'd like to see the following on there:

Off The Beer
Lorry Driver
The Boy Does Plenty
No Hair
The Ballad Of Tesco's (some re-writing would probably be needed)
What Day (Parody of Natalie Imbruglia's "That Day" although Moyles, purposely, sings it badly)
Will Mellor
Baked Beans

Off the top of me head so far. :D

Ah yes that one's great

Add to my list above:

We are builders (parody of Bob The Builder)
Because I got High (sung by Blair, Hague, Major & Thatcher)

Every time I hear it I am more and more struck by the cleverness and intricacy of Lorry Driver. I think its technically the best parody they have ever done.

is there a definitive list of Moyles' parodies, sorted by year and/or title/original song covered?

when they were uploaded to the sound vault is a pretty good idea of when they were recorded (granted this is just from looking briefly at the list)
although they are named with the parody names.. it should be easy enough to work out the original
