could saturday 22nd september be the start of bbc1's replacement for live and kicking hosted by chris. or they want to get as many to watch it as possible so they hope that the 2m ppl will switch off jamie and watch the tv, it looks like emma b is demoted.

Erm, isn't that my conspiracy story?  :) I said (ages ago) that Moyles would leave in mid-September. The BBC1 'The Saturday Show' starts in late September.<P>Emma B - I don't think it's a demotion. Right now she does 2 non-peak time shows per week and her usual "Emma B in for..." role. Come September she will have 1 breakfast slot and Sunday Surgery (presumeably).<P>the_dr

I hope he does do the Saturday show but its doubtful.  He was saying yesterday how he was finally gonna get his weekends free and besides, he would have to tone down ALOT for what is essentially childrens TV.  I thought Ana might be doing it since she's leaving CBBC.
