Ok here's the scenario:
I'm at work in a pub in Leicester, we have a pub quiz every tuesday (today) at 8pm onwards... the dj plays a few songs before actually going into the quiz at 9pm. So i'm there doing my business (waitering), and he plays Stan by Eminem. Except it's Moyles parody!!!! :) (the censored version)... now i'm wandering is this allowed? - can he play/broadcast it to the public. There was no other voiceover on it... and the dj (or his sidekicks) didn't sing/ad-lib over it... it was clearly moyles and his parody lyrics. Is this allowed?

It's illegall but they could have at least mentioned Chris as common decencey...
Technically, if *all* the punters and anyone who could possibly listen to the parodoy on that night heard it on Radio 1 - it may just be legal - unless the guy was using it as his work and this is obv. fraud....

Thanks. But no mention of Moyles by the dj, and judging by the looks on people's faces it didn't look like they had *all* heard it before on R1. Illegal. :)
