Does anyone have the "hello" sound effect? It might be on one of the two receptionist s.w.c mp3s in the sound vault because i think he used it for one.

dr_I turned the volume up very high, put the microphone quite a distance away from the computer (feedback!), then put the phone very close to the mic. On the volume controls for playing & recording settings turned the volume up to max.<P>god how very sad<P>I was bored of revision and it seemed a good idea.<P>Cheers mike i'll mail you in a minute.

Thanks Monkey - It's a shame I can't get my microphone to work  <IMG SRC="http://chrismoyles.net/ubb/frown.gif"> It's probably down to my crap soundcard as I've tried several microphones. Thanks anyway - might try it one day when I can get it working.<P>the_dr

Hello,<P>If you want to record a phone call, Veritape is quite cool. (http://www.veritape.com/). It records your modem so the better the modem the higher quality. Just like when you try listenning to your kids or mums conversations on the other phone (same line) you simply pick up the other phone. This does the same but the 2nd phone is obvisouly the modem!... <P>Phone call was great, by the way!<P>Cheers
