I'm seeing tweets that tickets to Moyles at the o2 are going on pre-sale tomorrow? Can anyone provide any more information, could this be the tour he was talking about last week?

Coo... interesting. He has mentioned trying to work out the details of a tour (last mondays show).

Interesting, has he spoke about this on air? Is it a stand up show or a live gig of the albums do we know?

If it's just Chris singing, I am not interested. If it's more of a one man show with stories and stuff, I'm in.

Chris can sing, but he's not a singer -- there's a difference.

I heard him mention when Lord Sugar asked what he was doing that he was considering a tour. It's got to be for the album but will it lose some effect if the people he's worked with i.e. Robbie, Olly etc are just all played from the track?

This could be dangerous territory. For some reason the phrases plenty of availability left, unsold tickets, and moving to a smaller venue spring to mind. I hope it is a success for him, but I'm just thinking that if even as an avid and long time listener to the show I myself would have no interest in attending a Chris Moyles Tour to hear him sing/talk, then realistically how many people (casual listeners or viewers of his tv shows etc.) would be clamouring to buy tickets? That's if it is just him doing whatever is it he'll be doing on his own, it would be a bit of a different story if he had some of the artists featuring on the album singing with him too.

I think i'd be interested in this. I remember his set at One Big Weekend being quite good actually.

I only saw that on TV but thought the opposite, Dave and Dom were excellent and the whole crowd singing 'My Lamb Bhuna' showed the impact of the show but Chris kept forgetting the words etc.

I like Chris as a radio DJ, his tv shows have always left me cold and this tour may be the same. Of course he's free to do what he wants for his career but it does feel like there's going to be a lot less Chris on radio for the foreseeable future and for me that's bad.

The Sun are running with the story

"He’s bringing his sidekicks with him as the award-winning team look for one last payday.
Their 80-minute live comedy show will feature loads of audience participation and a live band, no doubt supplying the music for Chris’s parody songs.
A source said: “It’s the first and last time Chris and his team will perform to a paying audience."

OK, I'm in! Assuming ticket prices are reasonable.

Me2, sounds good - and will prob be as per prev CM tours and less like the 'Beeb rules' radio show (IE inc swearing and Barrowman in hot-pants).

London tickets are £19.50 / £21.45 with booking fee according to gigsandtours.com. The ground floor appears to be standing as for a gig.

Just sorted 1 standing ticket for London through O2 priority. £24.44 including fees and postage.
I had to sign out and back in again to get the results to appear.

My friends who love the show would never be able to make it London on a weeknight, and this is hardly something for a "not really a fan" friend so 1 ticket it is. See you all there though, I suppose!
