The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

I think Comedy Dave should be used on weekends now as a sidekick/cover and again as the Chappers and Dave shows were class! - He mentioned the need for extra cash a while back so why not put him on with Vernon or Sara (doesnt have to be in every week) or use him for cover with someone. As for the argument that he works 5 days a week Dev does weekend/bank holiday cover and only had one full week off radio since he took over early's from Greg.

On a different note I hope Sara and Dave make use of Chris Smith and Simon Munday next week to take part in on air chats etc like Tina/Dom

I'm guessing he probably wants to keep his weekends free to spend with Nicole.

I think what Nicola said is probably the reason why he wouldn't do weekends every once in a while. It would be nice to hear anyway since I don't listen to anything else on Radio 1 apart from Chris.

He's great as a sidekick but awful on his own. Also I find his voice quite annoying when he talks for any more than about a minute.

Thankfully I rarely listen to the radio at the weekend so in reality I couldn't give a monkey's if he was given his own show.

Shouldn't that be MonkCheese not monkey's.

If I was any funnier I'd be a health hazard.

Chappers is the second most annoying person on the radio after Scott Mills. Dave should not do radio on his own...x

The Chappers & Dave shows really leant themselves to to Saturday Mornings, I used to really enjoy them.

A Dave & Dom show would be enjoyable because of the chaos thar it would create!

It would be nice to see them "playing for the first team" every now & then!

Nicola Smith? What a boring name. I thought you were more interesting than that...

Is that a euphemism?

Dave only works as the dim one, so he can bounce off the team on the breakfast show and it works pretty well. By himself though I don't think of him as very entertaining.

I find that during interviews with celebs, they often seem to humour Dave when he asks questions. It's like he's the annoying hanger-on who's constantly hovering around the person you actually want to speak to at a party and you have to put up with his boring chitter chat because it's his mate.

I think you'd be shocked at how much of the CM show is 'written' by Dave. He deserves more credit than he get on that front, as his input is underplayed.

You need to pay more attention.
