if it's your child - i'll presume that he's old enough not to be tracked by his mother if he's old enough to own an expensive smartphone

if it's your boyfriend - then you seriously need to assess your relationship if the trust is so bare, that you need to track his whereabouts (deeming his word not to be good enough).

Er - why? Rule of thumb - if you suspect he isn't where he is supposed to be/has told you he is, he probably isn't. You don't need an app for that, just a bit of common sense, communication and the brains to know when you're on a loser. Unless you are just wanting to track him for the hell of it, in which case he should be applying the above to you and making himself scarce.

I've got it on my device. It's a green icon called "Phone". It's great, I can use the app to actually talk to the person and ask them where they are. Amazing what they can do with technology.

I was chatting about this recently with my missus. As pointed out here, the App is pointless. If you need to verify your partners 'actual' location, you just need out of it - that is no relationship.
