The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Ben has created a thread in Sound & Video Requests where people can post links to their recordings of any video/audio from the marathon show. I've stickied it so it's near the top.

i hope that someone has a full version of the marathon show. I've had a couple of programmes on my videos. I lost 2 hours at the start on wednesday. Bloody freeview went into auto shutdown. And today. The missus knocked a cable and i think the sound is missing for 4 hours. And if thats the case i think it's at the critical moment of 5.30 - 10.55 today.

Change it to Flash AAC Standard in the Download Format bit and it'll start working again :)

Thank you SO much! Been wondering what the problem was, missed last Thursday's show but hopefully it'll be uploaded to the site sometime :)

I think I have everything in audio and video, including the 4 link ups with TV (2 BBC1 continuity trails, 1 link up with Breakfast and one with This Morning). Just need to transfer it to PC and just go through the file to see if there is no data errors, but I think I'll be OK.

I'll post more about sharing it all in the coming days, I'm knackered myself from watching so much of it.

All Hail the Site Geeks (and I use the term with a lot of respect and affection). You do a grand job, thank you for it.

Just to add, Ben and I will be sharing the job of selecting and clipping down highlights for the Sound Vault - but it's gonna take a while! I'm gonna start my re-listen on the way home from work tonite...

Unfortunately I might have issues with my recording so for God's sake please no-one delete their copy thinking I've got it all covered. Although my PVR says I've recorded all 52 hours, the file size is only 40GB, I was expecting over 50GB at least. Also when I transferred it to the PC, my MPEG program said I only had 25 hours there. Issues I need to look at.

Looking at other people saying their recording failed half way through, I wonder if there's issues with the stream or with MPEG2 transmission in general that kicks up problems after a certain amount of time.

OK, I think I should be able to get the majority of the show on video, although not in the one whole lossless chunk that I'd hoped. I've just watched the links of both of Dev's show and just had one short cut out during the first link of the first show. The trouble is that I'll probably have to archive it manually to DVD/HDD then to PC, which will take ages ages and ages to do. So maybe I can offer a "fill in the blanks" service to anyone who's missed any of it.
