Sorry to me Carrie is, Carrie - Waste of airtime! find her very annoying, Same goes for the golden 90s, oh sorry hour, even though tday is 1994 again (oh no Chris dont play that awful version of Space Cowboy), its nearly been going two years, if you cant go back beyond 1990 I thinks its time to call it a day, its getting ridiculas, there is so much good music before as well believe it or not Radio 1.

I think Parf Daddy may be the one limiting it, perhaps if enough of us bug them they may ask for permission & play some classic 80's stuff (especially 1985, a great year for music).

I like Carrie. She doesnt come across that well on air when Chris is on though. When Vernon filled in for him she came out of her shell a bit and was good in my opinion. When she does her off-show stuff like her Camilla Ice performance and the online blog and twitter she shows she has a really good personality.

I personally think she is intimidated by Chris on-air and that is why she tries too hard and doesnt come across well or naturally.

Edit: When I say "intimidated" I'm not meaning in a bullying way. Maybe it is the force of his personality or the fact she is so aware of the shows profile that makes her feel a bit inhibited and makes her try too hard. I dont know, but the Carrie I hear on the radio isnt the same Carrie that I read online or see in the videos.

It goes back to the early days of the Breakfast show (circia 2005/6). I've never disliked her although I think she has improved dramatically over the years.

Keep an eye on the Archive, there are some vintage shows from 2005/6 on their way soon, very soon in fact (recorded one tonight)

I've always liked Carrie as she's completely different to anyone else on the team, and therefore adds to the dynamic.

Looking forward to listening back to some of the 2005/6 shows.
