Is it me or did Chris not seem very confident in that interview i was in the audience when Chris was Patricks guess on Stupid punts (and them too are really good mates y'now!).

I just really dont think chris is very confident i think he is nervous in front of the camera and i think he might struggle to start with on his new tv show

I think he might be nervous because end of the day hes a dj not a tv presenter but time will tell.

in all his tv appearances he has looked nervous - most likely because he is! I think his tv show will be good because he will be the presenter, in control unlike on most tv appearances when he has just been the guest.

yeah he was nervous - his voice was different - but he didn't have his posse and TV is so different than radio. We love him anyway, but will he make the transition - he may need a few weeks to settle in. Brand new shirt - still creases in the sleeves...

He was looking very slim, I seriously wouldn't recognise him if I were to walk past him in the street now I reckon, without the beard & so on!

Chris was cool i think. He was nervous to begin with as i dont think he was sure what patrick was going to ask him but as he got into the interview he became more relaxed and began to enjoy himself

Chris Moyles' Fact File

Personal Life
Originally from Temple Newsam in Leeds, Chris had his first radio show at Leeds Hospital when he was 13.

He progressed to a local radio show on Aire FM at the age of 16, went on to work at Radio Luxembourg and became a Capital Radio DJ at the age of 22. He joined Radio 1 a year later.

Cool Credentials
After fronting the Radio 1 summer roadshow he was promoted to the afternoon slot in October 98 where he increased the listeners by 1 million in a week!

In May 1998, after only nine months at Radio 1, he won the Silver Sony Radio Award for DJ of the Year. The Sun Crowned him the DJ of the Year in 1998.

Did You Know?
Mark Lamarr threatened to kill him at the 1999 Brit Awards following a disagreement that had first started when Moyles was a guest on ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’

Chris is training for the Great North Run this Autumn and has enlisted Paula Radcliffe to help him out. She joined his personal trainer Gym Lady Jane for a training session in the park with Chris, Dave, Will and Lizzie at the end of July.

He has an on-going feud with the 3am girls, who printed his home phone number in their column in 2001.

He told Heat magazine in 1999: “Off the air I’m pathetic. I’m a pathetic little geek that just doesn’t have anything to say to anybody. I don’t like meeting people. I’d rather stay in my flat.”

The first album he bought was Nik Kershaw's ‘Human Racing’. He says the most embarrassing music in his collection are his 'Kids from Fame' albums. "If you get sucked into the Kids from Fame I don’t think you ever get out it. I was jealous of them because I’ve never been able to jump up and down”
