I'm sitting in the office at work just now waiting til half 2 when my instructor comes to pick me up for an hour practice before my driving test and I am absolutely crapping myself!

now you are free to enter the true world of driving some things you should know:

1. you dont need two hands on the steering wheel.
2. everyone speeds except the person in front of you.
3. people are generally rubbish drivers and do not obey the highway code.
4. no matter how narrow the space if you close your eyes you will get through.
5. women will look at you and then pull out right infront of you.
6. it is ok to run over: people in man utd shirts, old people, any animals and scousers.

One of my friends is a complete arse and loves to show off the fact that he can drive. He drives to school and then takes people into aberdeen REALLY fast (as it's a 45 minute drive away - 30 miles) just to go to a drive thorugh mcdonalds or something for lunch. It's a tad pathetic.

I had a driving lesson yesterday.

Someone tried to go past me on the outside of a roundabout when they were going the same way as I was :@ So i sped up & cut in front of them. If it had been up to me I would have then gone deliberately slow to annoy them.

Don't think I'm going to make a very good driver. :/

yeah I do cos most people who do things like that just do it cos they don't want to be stuck behind a learner driver. No matter how good you are and how you're driving at that moment in time, they always think that you're gonna drive really slowly and really badly within the next 4 minutes and make them 3 hours late for wherever they're going.

I have a mate (yes, it's true!) and he's learning to drive, whenever someone cuts him up he gets a bad case of road rage, he gets out the car and has a right go. I think the instructor's used to it now, whenever he does that he just says "If you do that in your test, you'll fail."
