That was brilliant this morning, unfortunately I had to get out the car just as it was starting to look like they'd get Wogan to come and speak to Aled. Did he come out in the end? I kept flicking to see if I could hear them talking about it on Radio 2, but I didn't hear it.

I had to stop listening just as they were sending Aled over - what happened?

Aled gave them the cake, and I think they thought it was underappreciated so they sent him over again to get it back and give it to Ken Bruce instead. However, during the Ramble, Wogan had mentioned it on air and thanked them, so they had to try and stop Aled getting it back from them.

Yeah, I heard them say that they were talking about them, but before that I kept momentarily flicking.

Aled got into the Radio 2 building with his BBC pass and as he got up to the studio area he was met by the travel woman. Aled asked if he could give the cake to Wogan personally, so the travel woman went to ask the producer; the producer came out and said he'd get Wogan to come out and meet Aled, but then Moyles played a record because it could be ages before that happened. I got out the car at that point.
