Hello everyone! I downloaded the sound clip of Dave's Drunk Tedious Link ages ago, and aside from finding it hilarious, it made me wonder. As I didn't hear the link when it aired, does anyone know the background on it? Why was Dave drunk so early in the morning? How did he manage with the rest of the show? Did he almost get sacked?

I just said I find him dull, and I do, so how does he not deserve it? I wouldn't think he would mind at all, it's not like I said he is stupid, or anything bad. And he may very well find me dull, what of it? It really doesn't qualify as an insult. More of an observation.

How is it a "poor observation"? I find him dull. His posts bore me. I think that's a founded observation - it's a personal one and may not be shared by other people, but I never said it should be.

Bearing in mind that you have stated several times in these forums that your opinion constitutes fact in your mind whether it is demonstrably wrong or not, simply because it is your opinion, I find it astonishing that you are trying to stop me expressing MY opinion - especially when, unlike you, I am not trying to tell everyone else that THEIR opinion is wrong!

Why? I didn't start the discussion of what people thought about SpaceBoy, I merely joined it. And why may I not?

And read through this thread - you have told me three times in the last few posts that my opinion is wrong.

Now read through the rest of the forums and make a list of all the other times you have done it - you'll be here a heck of a long time with that one.

And on what level does sharing an opinion which has been canvassed by others constitute bullying?

And yes, many others may not find him dull. Why are they allowed to express their opinion, but I am not? I think that is bullying actually.

I also reckon he is more than capable of handling the fact that I hold this opinion, and dismissing it as the trivial thing it is.
