I am getting a bit fed up with Fearne failing to turn up to present her shows on radio one .Shes absent more than shes actually on air.I dare say shes being paid a lot of money to be on Radio One and shes not doing much to earn it.if she cant commit to turning up ona more regulkar basis I want the radio one controller to terminate her contract.Anyone agree?

I'm pretty sure she would have had it in her contract that she would have to do TV work as well as radio, as that's what she's best known for. Plus i think all Radio 1 DJ's are self employed, so when she doesn't do her show, she wouldn't get paid

all radio 1 DJ's are free lance meaning that they only get paid for the work they do. Thats why when Comedy Dave had his baby he still appeared on the show because if he didn't he would not get paid if he didn't. i love Fearne but i do think she does needs to make more of an effort to turn up to her show.

I think the chart show is going down hill, it really doesn't seem to be as important as it used to be - maybe because of the advertising for it, or maybe the fact that the internet means you can just listen to what you want and avoid the rest.

Still, I think that if the show is advertised as the Chart Show with Fearne and Reggie, it should be Fearne and Reggie presenting it.

I'm listening to the chart show now and i agree with TIAL i hate to say it because i love Fearne and Reggie but it is going down hill and it does not help if Fearne never turns up to her own show. Reggie has done really well to keep it up beat and fresh in the absence of Fearne.
