As has been said on here before, what a top top bloke. Usually people that cheerful that early in the morning annoy the * out of me, but for some reason he doesn't.

I very much agree. Made me laugh lots, and was great he can make light of his previous 'dark times'. Seems like a genuinly nice guy, although it has been said before as one of the dads at my sons school does security for him. Quite why cheggars needs security is beyond me, but guess it's for the outisde broadcast stuff where idiots may be encountered!!

Totally agree, was a good laugh on the show this morning

While driving I did actually put down both windows when he asked for people to shout and honk their horns, I was trying to see if there was anyone else listening nearby. I think I was driving through a Radio2 zone, cos I didn't hear anyone at all

The whole show was brilliant this morning (and I don't believe that American Idiot was a coincidence for one minute, Mr Moyles - I hope it wasn't anyway), and Cheggers was the icing on the cake. He is a true star.

Chris was talking about Tom Cruise and then went straight into 'American Idiot' - it was before 7:00, so you must go to work quite early.
