Todays show featured an impromptu rendition of My Way by Comedy Dave. Subject was Migraines and although sang initially in the wrong key was funny.

As a person who was initially annoyed by Dave and his Negativity, and thick enough to ask the question "why comedy dave" when he is clearly not funny, I think that he has shown some real talent of late.

What do people think are his best bits from the past, and what things is he saying on the show that make you laugh.

Given the negativity of the last week, with regards to show bashing, this thread could be an oasis of positivity for the Man that is Comedy Dave !

Dave is great. I've always said that.

Best bits - when he was telling a joke but screwed it up while he was telling it and almost said "b*llocks".

Also, when he spilled water on the desk - a good example of the quick thinking of Chris as well to make it sound like he had broken the studio. (clicky

I'm not a statistician, so I can't pluck a "best bit" out of the air for you, but I love Dave and he is better than ever since he has been able to acknowledge his relationship with Jayne (Jane?) post-divorce. He's sparkling at the moment.

I like any bit where Dave makes a complete tit of himself. His ineptitude with maths, his general lack of understanding how the lottery draw worked. His inability to use any form of technology including making a video on his mobile phone.

The whole show works best when they each play to their sterotypes (easy for Dom). Carrie as a posh Mongoose Vodka swilling horse-loving (not in that way) posh bird, Dave as funny but a bit stupid, Aled being camp as a row of tents, Rachel being all corporate and insisting "but I sound NOTHING like that" and Chris playing up the role of a fat, northern, slightly misogynist, ego-maniac.

Still, take a look at my cheese takes a lot of beating.

I saw that live and let me tell you it was truly awful. There's no way they could have broadcast what Chris was saying to Dave that night!

The best thing he does for me is "ramble" every morning. This always makes me laugh no matter how many times I hear it.

Also, I would love to have been there for the moment Dave once took R1 off the air for 15 mins. (check out Chris Moyles' first book). Totally priceless, I would imagine.
