The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

The question asked on the first "just ask dom" was submitted by me on the web but someone else asked it on air.
(why do we close our eyes when we sneeze?, is it because our eyes will pop out otherwise?)
They had some guy "called Martin from Hull" asking it. i know it was my question because what are the chances of 2 people asking that?
i was wondering if they ring the person up that morning and ask them to ask the question so it can be played on air? my phone was knocked off that morning, so they obviously just asked someone in the studio or something! anyone else had similar experiences? According to Dom, your eyes will pop out, so don't try it as you can normally take Dom's askjeeves based answers. Moyles is a Legend, Mills is Not!

I don't know - I wouldn't have thought, in the light of all that's gone on recently, that Rachel or Aled would sanction getting someone from the show to pretend they were a listener. Risky business, even without a prize at the end of it. Also, I would have thought the chances of two people asking that question were pretty high really, it's such an old chestnut. But sorry you didn't get on, better luck next time!

Of course not, but my sympathy isn't only limited to the areas I can influence!

I'm not sure that juggling will really translate to the radio all that well! Mind you, Little Chris the magician is still working on the Moyles show I think, you should get in touch with him, if he can't get you a job on the radio, he might put you in his stage act!

Juggling is hardly comparable to 'magic' is it; if you could do a magic trick while juggling it might be entertaining to watch but otherwise it's just a bit repetitive and doesn't really involve a lot of imagination or thought.

Don't know really. I have an excellent imagination and am very good at thinking, but I can't juggle a bit. So maybe you're right.

Yes because you don't have to be intelligent to juggle. You have basically proved Console right, by indicating you didn't understand his post.

Just for a change I'm gonna take issue with this point. Doing a magic trick is basically just remembering what order to do things in, I'll admit you need a bit of skill at misdirection but that's easily achieved. Juggling on the other hand you need a lot of concentration for, you're mentally active the whole time especially if your using clubs or passing. You need to adapt to the tiniest changes in speed and direction.

That said I'd rather be a magician than a juggler any day, they get all the fit birds!

132, is that all?

When you say you're very intelligent (sorry "inteligent"), did you mean to put on the end "relative to the plankton living in my pond"?

You have a pond?

It has plankton?

Does it have any whales?

Ah bollocks. I * it up didn't I. (No I don't have a pond, but my mum does... she has frogs in it, she wants some newts though and these seem to be much rarer than they have been previously.)

I've got frogs in mine you can have. Tiny ones, I could mail them to you. They don't seem to eat much, I've thrown bits of bread at them but they don't seem to touch it.

Hang on, you put live rats in and let them starve to death?

Not it's not. In life, rats have the chance of escape and finding food for themselves.
