After listening to the "waxing for Children in Need" discussion this morning, how far would you be willing to go, to raise money (or awareness) for a good cause?

I think I would have my hair shaved off (my head!), but there would have to be a lot of money for the charity before I did it !

I would streak too, if there was enough money involved. Also shaving my hair off would be an option. I'm not sure I'd dance though, backward as that may sound.

Sadly i've got naked far too often for it to have any appeal any more (if it ever did in my case) so I'd have to do something mundane like, read the guardian every day...including suplements.

I'll give you both a fiver.

In fact, a tenner each if you do it at the same time in the same Tesco.

You'd have to pay for my travel as well, unless Viv were to come down here.

And for Tesco it's at least £50.

If others put in as much.

P.S. As we are all internet friends, this clearly isn't going to happen and I perhaps wouldn't do it in a supermarket, but I would definitely streak for charity if the money was right.

How can you change your beliefs for a price? Surely thats not possible? I mean, you could lie to everyone and SAY that you're a god fearer, but if you didnt believe it, then its not true?

I mean, follow their way of life... "pray" at a certain time, goto certain meetings at certain times, etc.. etc..

Buddhism is a way of life promoting spiritual wellbeing and harmony. It does follow a doctrine and also has a main spiritual leader so to all intents and purposes I think it is a "religion". However it has no deity and is therefore not a religion in its purest sense. It is however studied in RE at school and is filed under religion in libraries and bookshops rather than in the Mind, Body & Spirit sections.

I couldn't follow the buddhist way of life however much I admire it because they won't kill wasps, they won't kill anything but wasps - in my my humble opinion - do not deserve to live.
