I thought she was American, or at least she pretended to be at the Brit Awards.

That depends, are we talking about Joss Stone or Jocelin 'Joce' Stainer? Joss Stone is English (I think) and Joce is Irish.

It is clearly to do with Joce who is Irish.

If you're Northern Irish then you're also British, whereas you're not if your from Southern Ireland/Republic of Ireland/Eire.

Isn't she producing someone else now? The Moyles show already has two producers, and an assistant producer (at least one of those) - what would she do? She couldn't replace Rachel for sure, and even though I like her, I wouldn't want her back at Aled's expense.

She was, and I thought she might produce Greg, but apparently not. So who IS she producing?!

I heard her with someone at the weekend? Now, who was it? Was it Vernon, in fact?

At some point no doubt someone will be interested enough to go to the Radio 1 website and check. It might even be me, but not right now.......

Don't worry. They're very close (Scotland and Ireland). Personally, I was never that struck on Joce.

I thought she was lovely. I've got a picture of me and her somewhere taken at the Karaoke night in London last year. Bless her she was still running around organising things even then!

But it's fair to say that if she came back to the show she'd either have to replace someone or take a career step backwards which no-one wants to do. Let her develop her talents and maybe in a few years she'll be a bit more prominent if that's what she chooses.

Whether you meant geographically or accent-wise, you're very wrong.

Well, unless you meant geographically relative to, say, Scotland and America.

Meh, we like the Irish... I dont think anyone would care if you made that mistake. We both drink and swear a lot

You might get a few backs up if you mistook us for the Americanos.

Geographically we are close, ya nut! I can get the ferry from Stranraer to Belfast, if I so chose (easily).

And there are lots of flights from Prestwick (Ayrshire) to Dublin.
