Did anyone else watch this yesterday?

I watched the end of Vernon's show and most of Cox and Ball. and i was surprised by how dull it all looked.

I don't know what i thought they did between links, but i was kind of surprised to see that the producer appears to do most of the work and the presenter just sits there pressing the occasional button.

But it was quite interesting to watch.

Liked the bit when Vernon danced around with a brown paper bag on his head.

At the risk of getting myslef banned before my post count reaches double figures (I've already asked this in a couple of other places  ), did anyone manage to cap any of yesterday's streaming?

I can understand why the feed with Vernon was a bit boring, but it was the Moyles/Blackburn show where it came into its own. The fluency with which Moyles works the desk is really quite impressive.

And, yes, any radio producer does an awful lot of work to make sure the show runs smoothly; it's the presenter that has to provide the magic that keeps people listening. Neither job is easy...

Is it technically possible to do that though, record a live-stream? Radio 1 should do an edited highlights video - or better still, shove it on the red button like Foo Fighters or Big Weekend.

I presumed it would be a step-up from recording radio, its the reason I rely on people to clip things, it baffles me, I've gotta be honest.

its very much possible and if I had been awake, I would have done so, however - i was sound asleep at the time. So if anyone has it... has this been asked already?

I was coming to the same conclusion.

Shame though, that kind of opportunity to actually see (as well as hear) Moyles doing what he does best doesn't come up that often. It would have been a nice thing to have been able to watch and archive. I'd have done it myself but I'm not in the UK so couldn't access it.

Pity :(
