What impressions did you have of The Moyles and Tony Blackburn yesterday in Brekkie?

I enjoyed every second of it!! Thought they got on very well together, and were both very funny!! :-)

Brilliant radio, I heard quite a lot of it, as I said in the chat room, the Sexual Healing thing had me in stitches, as did the clip of Blackburn explaining his mispronunciation of Duran Duran.

On the Sexual Healing thing, he wasn't allowed to say 'sexual', but he was allowed to play the song? Did they bleep out 'sexual' from the song (if they explained that I missed it)?

No, they used to play it as normal, because Chris was laughing at the lack of logic in the rule. It was wonderful stuff; I'd get up at 7 every Sunday morning if I could listen to those two. Radio 1 sounds a lot more boring now all the old jingles have gone

I do agree they should keep a lot of the retro jingles after the birthday; the mix of old jingles with some of the new songs sounds great.

It was great just to hear Sexual Healing on Radio 1. It was a fun show. The funniest was Tony Blackburn teasing Moyles and Vernon about how many listeners they got then Moyles asking how much he got paid back then.

Yes, we're not legally allowed to have the music in it; if you want to hear it with music then use the 'Listen Again' feature on the BBC website.
